Resumo: This work is set from an investigation into the learning of geometrical concepts by working with the tiling theme in the plan and use of the GeoGebra software on the phone, in order to better understand how a student of Basic Education is absorbing these concepts whose understanding may be related to mathematics teacher work mode. Once we have this assertion, we intend to answer the following question: "How to promote the Geometry teaching using touchscreen devices? '' Here we deal with considerations about the idea of tiling the plane, as well as suggestions so that the teacher's work is to implement strategies and tools which aim to an effective Mathematics teaching. In this work, there is the choice of a starting point and a research that will deal with the tiling plan theme. As a theoretical framework used to develop the study, we quoted works on the use of technology in the classroom and, as a research methodology, the choice was the Didactic Engineering. The research subjects were students in the eighth grade in a public school in Duque de Caxias city, totaling 40 students. In this process, the use of technology may offer an important support, because it has been observed that such work may provide useful approach on Maths concepts and assignments which colaborates for a better formation of a historically situated learner, thus reinforcing an educator's commitment with students' learning. The research is finished with the development of an educational product, which is a GeoGebra Book, containing videos designed for the development of researching activities, to be used by any interested party.
