Resumo: This dissertation aims at investigating the lexical productivity of and in the enunciative space of the amateur radio PX group, focusing on the UNUSUAL LEXICAL ASPECT. It s necessary to say that we denominate as UNUSUAL a word or expression that escape to the expected in the linguistics enchainment where it emerges because the system presents other word and/or other expression fixed by the social practice, adapting to the situation. Under the theoretical perspective of the Linguistics of Enunciation, crossed by some notions from the lacanian Psychoanalysis, we investigate the UNUSUAL. Theoretically, the research was based on Saussure (2006), Benveniste (2005, 2006), Lacan (1998), Authier-Revuz (1990, 1998, 2004), Milner (1984, 1995, 2006), and others. To what concerns lexical aspects and word formation, Biderman (2001), Coseriu (1979, 1980, 1982), Rio-Torto (1993, 1998), and others were chosen. According to our knowledge of the researched group, it was very important to know the jargon of the PX group to undertake the investigation because this knowledge allowed us to distinguish if a word or expression belonged to a certain jargon or to the UNUSUAL. The enunciation by the amateur radio users points to an enunciative space in which the operators seem to occupy a different enunciative position, considering some of its characteristics such as solidarity, friendship, affection, etc. The PX group is constituted, in its big part, by truck drivers. It s necessary to say that there are operators in residences and/or business, too. We investigated the enunciation related to interactions of amateur radio operators in Monte Carmelo, Minas Gerais. These interactions are among operators from this town and among operators from this town with truck drivers from other places. Our recordings, two tapes, constituting our investigation material, did not follow any criterion related to the informants, such as sex, age or schooling, considering that we were interested in the lexical productivity in the space of this practice. The corpus was constituted by parts of transcriptions of these tapes in which it was possible to construct the UNUSUAL LEXICAL ASPECT, focus of our research. The UNUSUAL, according to our research hypothesis, besides pointing to a lexical productivity characteristic of the orality in this interaction space, would represent a manifestation of THELANGUAGE (lalangue). In this way, it s important to say that one of its characteristics concerns to the fact of registering the hiatus in the language. In the course of our work, we concluded that our hypothesis was confirmed, emphasizing that, to the UNUSUAL occurrences, we constructed some categories: METAPHORIC, EUPHEMISTIC, HYPERBOLIC and EQUIVOCAL. Although these categories proved to be of great importance to understand the object of our research, we do not agree that there is an enclosure of meaning, because there is real . What concerns to the (un)expected does not stop emerging.
