Resumo: | In 2017, the world of work led to several discussions due to the approval of a new law, Law 13.467 / 17, called Labor Reform. Within a year, the document was voted on and approved, triggering a debate about the interests it represented and the expectations for the future that advocated improvement. Therefore, the objective of this research was to analyze selected articles of Labor Reform, seeking to understand its changes and what interests are supported and represented. The work came from a critical conception and understanding of work as central and organizing the social context and human life, a conception currently challenged by new perspectives termed as a postmodern. The theoretical-methodological approach of Critical Discourse Analysis was essential to provide theoretical scope, as well as providing tools and categories in working with texts. The theoretical work consisted of the historical resumption of work in the global and local field, in this case, the development of the world of work and its laws in Brazil. The material selected was a version of the Consolidation of Labor Laws 2017, prior to the enactment of the Reform, and a document released by the Federal Senate, updated until April 2018, with changes in the law. The analysis allowed us to observe implicit marks of the text, which seemed to indicate a construction of the text to deny the history of conflict between workers and employers. The final debate provided a vision of the neoliberal and modernizing discourse that the Reformation, supported by a particular social group, wants. The meaning of this Reformation would be supported by this ideology, however, despite the idea of "new" and "progress", one perceives the denial of history and the attempt to erase it, something that cannot be sustained when the interpretations, given data and interviews, present the situation of informal workers in extremely precarious situations. |
