Resumo: The relief is one of fundamental element to comprehend the inter-relations between the physical aspects (rocks, soil, climate, vegetation, hydro resources, etc) and Humankind activity. The geomorphologic mapping, is one of several methods used to understand these interfaces in natural ambient, serving as essential subsidy to the several phases of the planning. In this theoretical line, there is the taxonomic propose for cartographic representation, which were done by Ross (1992). This propose start from a first taxon that represents the bigger relief forms (morphoestructural forms) and goes to the sixth one, which represents the shorter relief forms (gully, short channels, ravines, etc.). This study shows a geomorphologic classification in a sample five area of the Araguari River Basin, (River Uberabinha; Canyon of the River Araguari; Serra of the Salitre; Domo of Tapira and Serra of the Canastra), in scale of 1:50.000, proposing an analysis of de landscape organization differences and its potentiality. This map, that holds a lot of information about geomorphologic phenomenon, was done using the AutoCad software. The final product of this paper is applicable in different Humankind activities, mainly to the environmental planning, showing the potentialities, risk areas, preservation and protection areas, etc.
