Resumo: | This article aims to “investigate, study and understand the degree of importance that the teachers of the university, graduated and working on the course of Physical Education assign to the following categories: 1) Psychomotricity, 2) Psychomotor education, 3) Human development and motor development and 4) Motor Learning. It aims to identify, analyze and describe the ideals that these teachers have about Psychomotor Education and its benefits for Child Education”. The thesis defended was that the professional graduated in Physical Education, and working on the graduation of this course would have a wider knowledge about this subject as well as of the categories listed for this study and its relevance in childhood. We are dealing here with an analytical and exploratory research with qualitative and quantitative approaches, using a mixed instrument - closed affirmations (Likert Scale, of five points) and tree questions (Content Analysis). As targets we counted with the participation of 10 graduated and working teachers who have graduated in an Institution of Higher Education (IES) in the city of Uberlândia. In short, the results revealed that these professionals of the motion area, in their pedagogical practice, give different degrees of importance in some aspects of the research but they agree in the majority of researched subjects. We realized that in the categories of psychomotrocity, Psychomotor Education and Human and Motor Development, the degrees of appreciation are closer, whereas in the Motor Learning there was the biggest divergence in the researched items and biggest indication of neutrality in some of the questions. We concluded that Physical Education in Child Education, using as a work methodology the psychomotor education, offers a relevant role and has the goals to opportunize and make it feasible that the children develop with autonomy, creativity, initiative, awakening in them their potentials. The psychomotor education as a side of Psychomotricity, allied to the processes of motor development is of great value to the construction of motor bases in childhood. |
