Resumo: The present paper deals with the construction of a learning object (OA) in the form of a game related to one of the areas of Art, the Visual Arts, and by means of the planning of a document called Game Design Document (GDD). The GDD describes all the steps for an elaboration of a digital educational game (called Narratives connected to Visual Arts teaching) and is connected to contents present in a curricular organization of the discipline of Art for seventh grader students of Junio High School. Considering the fact that a research follows a qualitative and exploratory thematic methodology, a GDD production considering the needs and suggestions of participating students. Finally, the research discusses, in a critical way, the relevance of the game as a way of expression, collaborative construction, and exchange of knowledge. It is concluded that the digital game can stimulate the student to construct his/her knowledge, since it allows different possibilities of holding the curricular content of the discipline. All these possibilities: a game, a way of entertainment, and teaching-learning, are enhanced when the material is thought not only for the student, but with the student himself/herself when he/she becomes a partner in the project.
