Resumo: | This research has as general objective to analyze the musical learning from the musical experiences of students who were part of the recording of the CD "Encantos de Cecília" in the city of Bebedouro -SP. The specific objectives seek to identify what led these young people to participate in this recording, to examine how they received the compositional process of the songs that were recorded, to reveal how these students were prepared to perform the recording, to understand what they felt when they participated in a recording for the first time, to characterize what were the difficulties encountered by the students during the phonographic recording process and to analyze what were the impressions of the students about their musical learning when listening to the recorded material. The literature review is divided into three topics: the musical relationship of young people with the recording studio (VERDELHO, 2014; VALADÃO,2018), the experience of recording a CD according to the student (HANNA, 2016; KEARNS, 2017) and the students' musical learning during a recording (MARTINS, 2017). The theoretical foundation focuses on three conceptual axes: the concept of learning from the conceptions (SOUZA E ARALDI, 2009), the concept of total social fact approached (SOUZA, 2004) and the concept of experience explained (LAROSA, 2011). The research methodology is the case study (YIN, 2005), which consists of an investigative mode used in situations where the facts occur in an independent way from the investigator. This study was developed in a qualitative approach based on the views of Bodgan and Biklen (1994), Denzin and Lincoln (2006), who consider the subject of investigation a key element for the understanding of phenomena related to the observed field. The data collection technique used was the semi-structured interview (TRIVIÑOS, 1987) using questions established in theories and hypotheses related to the theme of the proposed study. The results of this study indicate that each student developed different ways of learning from their participation in the recordings, and some students showed development in their human formation as well as other participants improved their instrumental technique from the recordings. It was concluded that the students' musical experience with the CD recording environment demonstrated the possibility of other spaces for musical learning apart from school, it also allowed a feedback on musical learning from the student's impression and revealed that the act of learning music can be designed in different ways according to the personality of the each participating student. |
