Resumo: | In contemporary times we observe that more and more people use tattoos to sing and "make-up" themselves inside the chaotic threads of social structures. The purpose of this research is to understand certain ways of feeling, existing and acting, that is, subjectivation of the contemporary individual who, in this research, is the individual tattooed. It seeks to problematize the tattoo and reflect on the forms considered singular that inhabitants of the contemporary urban world are using to print, in their bodies, signs that literally place the "I" in time and space. The backbone of the research is the question of how tattoos are used as ways of subjectivation in a society designated as liquid, ephemeral, of the show and based on the exacerbation of sensations. How are we constituting ourselves through our bodies, of signs and what can be the result of our desiring escape lines? Through dialogue with the thoughts of Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, F. Nietzsche, Espinosa and other authors, I bring reflections on subjectivation processes and the relation of desire to the flows of the desiring machines, and from there I try to understand how the tattoo appears as an element in the construction of self. What kinds of desires and feelings do they present when men and women tattoo their bodies? The method that gives north and foundations to the research is that of cartography (Deleuze and Guatarri), which makes possible the problematization of how bodies are interacting, desiring, (de) territorializing and (des) doubling. Cartography understood as the philosophical-political-sentimental field of subjective relations; that is,accompaniment of pathways, involvement in production processes, connection of networks or rhizomes between device structures and the processes of subjectivity. This dissertation is about the cartography of desecrated bodies that desire and use their bodies as a locus of subjectivation: the body is a place of power and also of resistance. The body here is understood as power to affect and be affected, that is, that vibrates and emanates. With field surveys in studios and tattoo events - observations and interviews - it has been realized that in the face of the fragility of existence, individuals seek to construct the "I", their identity, in places of communion, give meaning to existence, give vent to desirous nature. What happens in many ways, including through tattoos. This dissertation intends an ode to the revolutionary desire in the construction of a powerful body and in the subjective construction that are composed by complex webs of simultaneous productions, immanent with unpublished, strange and charged states of intensity. |
