This paper presents the results of the evaluation and proposal to maintain the quality management system (QMS) of a large Construction Company in the city of Uberlândia / MG. After a description of the stage of maintaining the system of quality management is presented to evaluate the procedures used in establishing and maintaining the QMS, the description of improvements and the impacts incurred during the process of implementing systems of quality management in the company. To carry out the work was done documentary survey and participant observations in the enterprise focus of the study. We present here the main non-conformities found in the reports of external audit and internal process indicators, a survey of the reviews, as well as the media used and the corrective actions taken. The results are presented examining the procedures used by the company to collect indicators and treatment of non-conformities, and proposals made by the researcher in seeking continuous improvement in some cases.
