Resumo: | Conceiving madness as the structuring principle of A Lua Vem da Ásia, written by Campos de Carvalho, it is postulated that the protagonist, in the form of an eccentric self, adopts this position as a space for escape from the claustrophobic and unbearable reality in that lives. Astrogildo, Hector, Ruy Barbo, calls into question the primacy of reason and dismantles bourgeois institutions in a very aggressive and critical manner. He finds in writing the solution to being free, speaking what he thinks, acting as he wants. From this, this study consists of a general reading of A Lua Vem da Ásia, starting from the madness of the protagonist, for an analysis of the time, space and position (or trajectory) of the narrator. According to the study, all these elements are inseparable. This is a qualitative research of an exploratory nature, with an analytical-descriptive orientation of the literary work itself, which has readings and re-readings, several reflections and discussions to achieve such results. |
