Resumo: Due to the great need for more sustainable solutions in construction, we sought through this work to analyze the alternatives of components in reforestation wood. As a renewable source of raw materials, consume little energy in its processing, and having facilities for prefabrication, it is an important item for industrialization in construction. To get a sense of the planted forest sector in the country and the state of Minas Gerais, there was a quick analysis of the reforestation process as well as the socio-economic benefits for the regions where they occur. Was approached about sustainability and global concern in the search for more sustainable solutions for all sectors, especially construction, which involves not only environmental concerns but also socioeconomic. With the literature review, there was the need to start the introduction into the construction of prefabricated reforestation wood in the form of components. We chose components of internal vertical seals to be used in buildings of several floors and differentiated structures, due to ease of prefabrication of these components because they are light and easy to transport. To carry out a conceptual design on vertical seals were made revisions on the performance requirements as well as a study on the elements that could constitute the panels. As a result we obtained the design of lightweight panels of vertical sealing reforestation wood, modular , prefabricated , easy to transport , install and maintain, cooperating in a way for the industrialization of the construction sector.
