This dissertation aims to investigate the relationships between the workshop and the essay room in the Puppet Theatre, that could generate a principle named here as shared creation. Eventually the scene assemblage as well as the puppet’s engineering and plasticity can contribute to the puppet construction and to the shows’ improvement. A short historiography of the Puppet Companies Giramundo (Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil) and Faz de Conta (Uberlândia, MG, Brazil) will be analyzed from their beginnings till the most recent shows. Their methods and chief shows will be related since the puppet scene’s conception and production to the research lines and remarkable features from each one, according to an Animation Theatre’s perception. Especially the staff integration, mostly the construction and animation teams integration and their professional relationships will be considered in this research.
