Resumo: Percussion began to gain more notoriety, around and mostly during and after the 20th century, especially when just one musician played several percussive instruments together (setup), in orchestras and in solo contexts. Multiple percussion emerged and evolved in this period, where rhythm and timbre were gaining more attention. Also mainly in the 20th century, advances in technological means related to electroacoustic music, mixed music and computing, brought new possibilities to composers and performers, of which we highlight fixed media sounds. These are the pre-recorded electronic part of some works involving technology, bringing us perspectives for composition and performance of mixed works, but brought here with different aesthetic references, that is to say aesthetic references, that is, not just electroacoustic music, even though we have interest in and influences from electroacoustic music. In this way, this research and the works created and performed in it have hybrid aesthetics, although more focused on popular music, but with some technical and aesthetic aspects of electroacoustic music. Thus, we studied multiple percussion and fixed media sounds and then composed and performed works that combine these two universes together, reflecting on our creative and interpretative processes.
