Resumo: | The different landscapes expressed throughout the globe are the result of the procedural relationships of the endogenous and exogenous elements of natural systems, with water standing out among these, which has the capacity to promote the interconnectivity of the landscape components. Through the study of its movement, relevant information about the functioning and genesis of environments can be identified. In this sense, the objective of this work is the hydrogeomorphological understanding of different geocoverages present in the slopes of Chapadão do Diamante (National Park of Serra da Canastra - MG), in order to produce an integrated landscape study with the capacity to reveal information on the genesis and functioning. For this purpose, two models of infiltrometers were used for data mining, one for flooding and the other for sprinkling, which was calibrated to reproduce high-intensity rainfall similar to that occurring in the region. The study revealed that the different environments expressed along the slopes exhibited low superficially drained values and high infiltrated volumes, in order to present basic infiltration velocities far above those considered as very high. The presence of water helped in the stratification of environments over time, altering their physiographic elements through the regulation of chemical and physical processes, influencing processes of erosion, deposition, pedogenesis and biological distribution. |
