Resumo: | The aim of this work is to analyze and to understand the dynamics of a Trip Generation Hub PGV, the trips generated, the impact of the traffic in the surrounding area and the hub influence area. The PGV studied was the integrated urban bus Terminal Central of Uberlândia, MG Brazil, which has a small shopping attached with about 80 stores and an enclosed parking lot with 262 spaces. The estimated number of customers attending the PGV under study was 144,000 daily. A literature review was made on the subject, which included the Manual for the treatment of PGV from DENATRAN, the City Statute and the Master Plan of the Municipality. It is presented an analysis of the results from a survey conducted with the customers of the PGV. The survey was developed with the objective of knowing the origin and the destination of customers who attend the PGV. A survey of traffic count in the vicinity of the enterprise was done in order to analyze the volume of vehicles near the hub and the level of service in the primarily intersections. Finally, this study showed the dynamics of this type of hub and the impacts of the traffic in the vicinities of the enterprise, where most of the intersections operate at Level of Service F, and the pedestrian s behavior, who don´t comply with the traffic rules. |
