Valores e práticas organizacionais: o teste de um modelo explicativo para a percepção de saúde organizacional

Resumo: | The concept of organizational culture, despite it has a relevance in the studies on the organizational behavior, being the culture a key concept for the explanation of some phenomena, suffers from the lack of consensus and maturity in what it says respect to its agreement and the differentiation of other concepts and its elements. In what it says respect to the organizational health, also exists a great profusion of concepts correlates, being however this variable still little studied and deserving of bigger attention and efforts of research, aiming at to establish its concept and to know its relations and impacts. The existing studies contemplate conceptual questions and theoretical models, being the literature of organizational health marked by the absence of empirical research. Ahead of this, the present study it has as objective to know the impact of the perception of the organizational culture ─ formed by practices and values ─ on the perception of the organizational health ─ constituted by the integration of teams and people and by the adaptability and flexibility to the external demands. The study it counted on a sample consisting of 245 workers of public companies and private of the regions of the Triângulo Mineiro and Mogiana Paulista. To verify the relationship between the variables and to test the model culture and health proposed, analyses of multiple regression stepwise had been carried through. The results prove the proposed model and point the organizational values as better predictors of the perception of Organizational Health that the organizational practices. The healthy organization, in accordance with the results of the study, is perceived as that one that possess in its values the satisfaction and well-being of its employees and the cooperative professionalism, and practices that promote the relationship interpersonal. |
