The contemporary tourism has been characterized for to search new ways of tourism, opposing to the conventional echo-rural tourism. The landscape has demonstrated be a valuable tourist resource; however it is important we understand its structure and dynamics. This research has as objective identifies and to evaluate the tourist potential of the compartments of landscapes of Bacia do Rio Claro elaborating motions for the environmental administration based on the development of echo-rural tourism. Initially, we work with the theoretical base about tourism and its relationships with geography and landscape concepts, followed by the divisions of landscape and evaluation of its tourist potentialities; finally, we propose sustainability’s instances for the landscape compartments. The research was based in the Theory of the Applied Landscape to the Sustained Rural Development. Thematic maps, pictures and graphs were elaborated to understand the compartments of landscape’s Bacia do Rio Claro under the focus of tourism. The results demonstrate we need to plan and administrate the tourism at areas with tourist potential of Cerrado Mineiro. Before the exposed the study proposes instances and use suggestions for landscape compartments under the optics of the echo-rural tourism.
