Resumo: |
Innovations allow the survival and reinvention of organizations' practices and conduct, making them meet the demands presented by their customers or service users. Ecoinnovation is an innovation modality that aims to bring a new level to the search for solutions that positively interfere in the relationship with the environment, being one of the ways that can lead to environmental sustainability. In this perspective, enterprises with environmental concerns are beginning to see eco-innovation as an opportunity to add value and attract new customers. The study aimed to identify eco-innovations and the main determinants of eco-innovation in enterprises that show signs of sustainable tourism in the surroundings of Riacho do Talhado, in the city of Delmiro Gouveia, Alagoas. To achieve this objective, multiple case studies were carried out in three sustainable tourism enterprises, considering the geographic location and the relevance of tourism in terms of job creation, income, its various interactions and social impacts. Initially, the tourism segments that are practiced were checked and the enterprises were framed according to the technical principles proposed by the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Tourism - CBTS; subsequently, eco-innovation practices were pointed out, with the adaptation of a checklist model used to identify the presence of eco-innovations, proposed by Cândido and Brito (2019), and the dimensions, typologies and types of eco-innovation agents were also identified. , only then to diagnose, based on a model proposed by Aloise (2015), the main determinants of eco-innovations in the researched enterprises. Data collection took place through and conducting two semi-structured interviews with the owners, using a qualitative approach; the study was classified as descriptive and exploratory, and the method was deductive, with content analysis. Evidence, secondary and documentary data were used. The results pointed to the fact that the organizations surveyed comply with the CBTS principles, are eco-innovators and their determining factors are similar, despite focusing their actions on different segments of tourism. |
