Resumo: The present dissertation is part of the research line State, Policies and Management of Education, of the Graduate Program in Education of the College of Education of Uberlandia Federal University (UFU) and derives from the national research entitled Analysis of the mapping of strategies for privatization of elementary education in Brazil: actors, programs and consequences for public education. The main objective of the study is to analyze the incidences of the Youth of the Future Program in the curriculum and management of public high schools in Minas Gerais in the current context. The analyzes highlight the privatization processes that permeate public education policies in Brazil and, specifically, in Minas Gerais, and their relationship with the new configurations of the State from the influence of neoliberalism. This is a qualitative research, whose methodology includes bibliographic and documental analysis. It was found that Instituto Unibanco consolidated its influence in the educational scenario at the national level, acting in an incisive way in the organizational processes and operational guidelines of high school. Among its main interests are to maintain the reputation of the conglomerate of which it is a part as “social responsibility” companies, as well as guaranteeing mechanisms for the production of student subjectivities in line with the business managerial logic. It was found that the Jovem de Futuro Program focused on school management and the curriculum of public schools in Minas Gerais in 2019, as it introduced, through the Management Circuit method, mercantile values, whose rationality began to transversalize the different dimensions of pedagogical and organizational work in high school. In addition, it produced an intensification of the work activities of servers. It was concluded that there was no evidence of improvement in student performance or in school dropout rates from the insertion of the Program, as was the objective of the private agent.
