Resumo: | The present work brought fundamental analyzes and theories about comic dramaturgy, film adaptation and humorous elements such as: irony and laughter. These elements were the main concepts of studies to analyze the written work Auto da Compadecida (1955), our object of study. Therefore, it was possible to make a comparison of the transposition of humor in the Guel Arraes’ 2000’s film adaptation. It's worth mentioning that Ariano Suassuna had a rich library that provided him with a literary repertoire and also a notion of theater beyond his experience, since the construction of dramaturgy of the writer showed us that he was also a dedicated researcher and scholar, above all, of humor and dramatic art. The playwright was inspired by leaflets from Cordel Literature and literary fiction to build Auto da Compadecida, this implied a movement of searches for the writer's sources of inspiration to understand and expose in the dissertation the singular creation, which we call Suassunian dramaturgy. The theoretical backgrounds that formed this research helped to understand what was understood as comic and the transposition of humor both in the dramaturgy and in the film adaptation O Auto da Compadecida by Guel Arraes. This dissertation, will open paths and arouse interest in several scholars for the production of other works that in the future will continue a reflection and analysis on art, comics, the multiple facets of humor and Brazilian culture with an emphasis on Northeastern culture. |
