This dissertation analyzed the various mechanisms of power in action in the political setting of Tupaciguara-MG, during moments of election [2000-2016], from the practices developed by Alexandre Berquó Dias in his speeches of the local against the representations developed by his voters. The thesis aims to debate, the symbolic representations, political myths conceptions and harassment practices present in the political argument in this city. He realized that the various political experiences gained by both politicians and voters don´t allow the construction of an ethical and democratic political platform. Thus, the representations analyzed by this thesis are permeated by symbologies, encouraging harassments which circulate from one administration to another, as well as practices and representations.
