Resumo: This work arose from a concern about the deconstruction promoted by alveana writing in "Mulher Mat(r)iz" (2011), of the historical representation of black women in literature which, even in contemporary times, is strongly intertwined with stereotypes, disqualify. We aim to enter and tread on the eleven stories present in this work, analyzing the characters, the contexts, the experiences, so that we can understand how the author, while deconstructing the stereotypes and the deprecing, (re)creates the image of these persons in a positive way, giving them protagonism, removing them from the shadows of silencing, reflecting at the same time about structural racism, about patriarchy, about intellectual delegitimization, about loneliness and violence, conditioned and projected on black bodies. To this end, we have focused on theories and criticisms of intellectuals who have pointed out possibilities as to the paths to follow, among them, Fanon (1968, 1980, 2008), Müller, Cardoso (2018), Costa (2003), Gomes (2002, 2005), Hall (2010), theorists who gave us the opportunity reflect and fundament our writing about racism, whiteness, exclusion and deprecing, Kilomba (2019), Gomes (2019), Santos (1983), Carneiro (2003, 2011) were some of the intellectuals women we referred to throughout the analysis of the stories as well as Duarte (2008), Miranda (2019), Foucault (1996) led us through concepts, propositions and necessary tensions in order to achieve fruitful and solid writing through critical and representative references. The referential and theoretical studies have allowed us not only to analyze and write about the tales present in the literary work "Mulher Mat(r)iz" (2011), the main objective of this study, as well as to understand and talk about the potentiality of alveana writing and the way in which the author, while (re)creating black female representation, together with reflections on gender, race and class, on social, affective, political, intertwines her narratives with militancy, black protagonisms, the rise and redemption of black women.
