The generation of the Residues of the Construction and Demolição (RCD) represents a problem that, each time more, comes if aggravating with the increasing adensamento of the cities and the lack of space for its final destination. The present study it had for purpose to make a survey and analysis of the situation of the RCD generated in the city of Ituiutaba. The methodology used in the work consisted of the bibliographical revision, carried through to give basement to the subject in study, mapping of the points of deposition, legal and illegal, estimative of the amount and qualification of the RCD, identification of ambient impacts provoked by the irregular deposition of the RCD and of actions implemented on the part of the involved agents for adequacy to Resolution CONAMA Nº 307/2002. The necessary data for the accomplishment of the study had been gotten through formal and informal interviews; photographic registers and exploratórias visits in I lease, with direct comments. With the gotten results it could be verified that, for the RCD deposition, they are being used public and private areas, the tax of RCD generation increased enters the years of 2005 and 2006, the parcel of the passível RCD of recycling is being contaminated for other residues and the lack of ambient awareness, on the part of the involved agents, still is present. The data presented in the study show the real situation of the generation and the depositions of the RCD, in the studied area, consisting in an important tool to subsidize the public administration in the brainstorming that benefits to the society and the environment.
