Resumo: | The action of the physical educator can contribute to the dissemination of healthy habits through projects focused on this theme within public schools. For example, we can mention the NUTRIR Healthy Kids Program, whose objective is to promote such habits within the Public Schools of the principal capitals of the Country. The project seeks to train professionals in the school environment and promote actions within the communities where it is inserted, creating an environment to combat risk factors, being a significant action to promote health and combat NonCommunicable Diseases (NCDs). As a methodology, we analyzed the quantitative data of the NUTRIR Program, which involved 6,462 teachers, 412 physical educators, as well as professionals in the kitchen and basic education between the years 2011 and 2016. The Program was developed in the main capitals and cities of the southeastern region of Brazil, the data analysis showed the relevance of the Program for the training and to combat the DCNT's in addition to the possible paths for the most effective development of the Program, presenting possibilities and openings for the Program educators and teachers of the school communities participating in the NUTRIR program. |
