Resumo: | The Host Institution, In The Form Of Shelter, Is A Social Assistance Service, Conceived To Protect Children And Adolescents Exposed To Situations Of Rights Violation. The Service Guarantee Protection To These Child And Adolescents And Provides Support To Their Families, In Order To Maintain Them In The Original Home, Preferably, Or Place Them In A Surrogate Family. In Addition To Public Policies, The Professionals Engaged In The Child And Adolescent Protection Network Seem To Decide About Hosting Or Offspringing Accordingly To The Policies Of Care They Believe In And To Their Conceptions Of Family And Childhood. Within This Research, We Define Care Policies As Ethical Guidelines Driving Protection Network Workers Choices And Decisions.
