The integration of young people from the popular classes in the labor market often happens early, frequently due the urgency of contributing to the family income. In its way, these young people are in precarious conditions of work and they are often barred by the qualification and preparation requirements to meet the technological and organizational demands resulting from the work reorganization from the socioeconomic policies of neoliberalism. This work aims to question the relationship between work and education, especially vocational education aimed at young workers served by Law no. 10,097 / 2000, Lei da Aprendizagem (the learning Law), in order to analyze the profile and social trajectory of these young workers, as well as their relationship with the professionalization and education from their professional and educational history, and their job prospects and continuity of studies based on their practical experience.
