Resumo: | This thesis aims to analyze the disputes between believers and evangelical pastors about what would be the ?legitimate pentecostalism?, and it takes as starting point the disagreement between them about what are pentecostal practices known as ?reteté?. We shall considerate the vigils as privileged spaces for the occurrence of these rites, mainly characterized by peculiar physical manifestations the work of an ethnographic description of the event Vigilhão da Celebrai. In addition to the ethnography held, disputes the legitimacy of some of the faithful will be presented considering a performance held in one of these celebrations and published on the Internet in addition to the debate involving pentecostal pastors about the gestures that can be seen as truly evangelical. It should be noted that in this case, customer reviews and justifications involved relate primarily to alleged similarities ?reteté? to fun performances or services of african-brazilian religions. Furthermore, the analysis focuses on the actors? speeches of the involved in disputes, seeking to realize the references to what would be a common higher principle shared by them called this work as a principle of purity and difference. |
