Resumo: Introduction: Increases in overweight and obesity rates is currently considered a global epidemic. Overweight leads to increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension, orthopedic and respiratory problems, and non-alcoholic liver steatosis, denoting the importance of its control and prevention. Weight control should be started as early as possible. Adolescence is an excellent stage of life for the promotion of healthy habits through nutritional guidelines, physical activity, medical and psychological care. Objectives: To evaluate the effects of non-intensive interdisciplinary therapy on cardiometabolic, inflammatory parameters and the influence of the dietary profile on these parameters in adolescents with obesity. Methods: 45 adolescents, post pubertal, with obesity were recruited for interdisciplinary therapy during 20 weeks with medical, nutritional, psychological and physical support and electronic support. The clinical, anthropometric and biochemical parameters, dietary profile and level of physical activity were performed at the beginning and at the end of treatment. The adolescent received food prescription developed by a nutritionist and physical activity counseling by the physical education professional. Health professionals (Nutrition, Physical Education and Psychology) worked collectively with group dynamics monthly and adolescents had access to an online platform with videos about health education weekly. Results: After 20 weeks, interdisciplinary therapy was effective in improving body composition, anthropometric and biochemical parameters, and adipokines, leptin and adiponectin. It was observed that the improvement of the dietary profile could improve cardiometabolic parameters. Conclusion: Non-intensive interdisciplinary therapy was able to attenuate markers of inflammation and cardiometabolic risks, and an anti-inflammatory diet profile may influence cardiometabolic parameters.
