Resumo: This thesis presents the research conducted in the Master’s Course in Educational Technology Network at UFSM related to a differentiated strategy for teaching Informatics discipline with the support of Digital Whiteboard resources. The objective of this research was to study the use of the digital whiteboard in technical education, in order to verify the contributions that it can add in class, providing opportunities for teachers interested in using this resource to reflect on its use, motivating them to make use of this tool for improving their classes. Being able to develop more dynamic and differentiated classes with participatory teaching that this tool can provide. The methodology used through the digital whiteboard study, using it in two different technical courses, performing a comparative teaching between them, obtaining also the judgment of the students involved and done with an interview with the teacher who observed classes reporting their perception of the use of the digital whiteboard. The present research has shown that the receptivity of the classes through the Digital whiteboard occurred in a positive way to deal with students and the teacher involved. Showed strengths and weaknesses in its use, concluding that the lessons have become more attractive, thereby increasing interest in the content addressed when using the digital whiteboard as an educational tool, however some difficulties have also been observed mainly in the issue relating to find the whiteboard ready for use and the refusal by some features.
