Resumo: With the world immersed in a scenario of constant advances in Information and Communication Technologies, today there are most varied forms of access to information and knowledge, enabling the academic environment to propagate science, through its productions, as well as simultaneous access to repositories containing materials with the same content and purpose. Driven by these advances, the need for an adequate bibliographic productions management in the academic scope grows, so that together with the process of scientific communication instruments will emerge for the longed-for dissemination of their works. In order to do so, based on the principles of Knowledge Management and Scientific Communication in the academic context, this work proposes a Web system, named Academic Production Repository (RPA in portuguese) to preserve and make online available the productions generated at the Farroupilha Federal Institute, Júlio de Castilhos Campus (IFFAR JC). This work, presented as a Dissertation to the Master Course of the Postgraduate Program in Networked Educational Technologies, in the research line of Development of Networked Educational Technologies - Area of Concentration in Networked Educational Technologies for Innovation and Democratization of Education, of Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, RS). As result of this work, five final products were developed, being one Software (RPA) and four Manuals of Technical Operation (tutorials). For the methodology of the research, procedures were based on a case study together with a bibliographical research, of applied nature, with a qualitative-quantitative approach of mixed methods. From the point of view of its objectives, it is characterized by an exploratory research. As a data collection instrument, questionnaires were used, in order to discover the opinion of the respondents regarding the RPA propositions in the institution. Together with the research application period (2017/2), the RPA development process was started, using the Bootstrap framework for its implementation. The survey revealed worrying and motivating results at the same time. Worrying because the perceived insufficiency of instruments that promote the publicity of local productions, and motivating for the fact that the majority of the respondents showed themselves conscious about the relevance that the process of management and sharing of the generated knowledge. At the end of the implementation of the RPA, it can be stated, according to information from the research and reports of the servers after the launch of the system, as well as the experience experienced in the development and implementation of new functionalities, that the development methodology met the expectations regarding to the demands raised and it is concluded that the proposals devised by the RPA will bring countless benefits to its academic community.
