Resumo: | This work has investigated the relations that settles between elder people who suffer violence practiced by an alcohol or other drugs family user and the possibility of resignification from therapeutic groups. In it there‟s correlation and articulation of concepts and perspectives of elderly, violence, drugs use and the therapeutic groups process, constituting the searched topic. Had as general objective: Understanding the therapeutic groups roles to elderly that suffer violence practiced by an alcohol or other drugs family user. And as peculiar objectives: to identify how the elders realizes the violence practiced by their familiar; To know the efectivity of the therapeutic group process to elderly who suffer violence practiced by their familiar and that attend to therapeutic groups. Research with qualitative approach, based on Social Constructivism. For the data output it was structured a therapeutic group constituted exclusively by elderly, they composed the seven participants of the study. The following inclusion criteria in the group were used: have equal or superior age to 60 years old, be a victim of violence practiced by a chemical dependent familiar, have accessed the Center of Psychosocial Attention to Alcohol and Drugs from the city of Santa Cruz do Sul, to request assistance, accept to attend/participate the therapeutic group. In this way, seven elders that experienced a violence situation practiced by an alcohol or drugs family user participated. Initially, it was made an interview with each elder. In sequence, they attended the therapeutic group weekly for a six month period. The dialogues that occured in group meetings were recorded in field journal and analysis objects. At the end of the development period of group meetings, the elders were interviewed again. Every interview has been transcript, analyzed and interpreted, building an association maps ideas. Among the results, you can identify that candidates, from the singularity of their own life stories, means in different ways their participation in different group processes. To some, the therapeutic group become a talking, listening, relaxing and orientation space. To others, the talking and listening become source of suffering, perhaps because of the repetition of content that reaffirm their own suffering or the impossibility of reelaboration. On the issues of violence against elder person, the different ways were pointed, such as: fisical and psychological abuse, abandon, neglect, financial violation and self-neglect. Stands out the resignfication of violence, understanding of self care and new discursive practices through participation in group activities. Concluding that those crossings reverberate directly in the care of family agressor and in the violence experiences. Thereby, breaching naturalized models, the accountability for resulting losts, the necessary reflaction to conduct the process, are bases to proposition of new ways of care. The therapeutic group puts itself, then, as a possibility from new learning and the significant disruption to a full life and the possibility of reframing the intrafamily violence. |
