Resumo: | Public Policies are present in our day to day, having the main role of solving the existing problems in society. It is no different in the context of forest producers and their non-timber products, as policies must respond to the demands of this sector. This research aims to analyze public policies to support agroextractivist production in the state of Rondônia- Amazônia- Brazil.. The present study is justified by the contribution to public policy managers, because through the results they can verify whether agroextractivists are actually aware of existing policies and whether they are using or enjoying them, thus fulfilling the role of public policies. This research was conducted using the content analysis method, with a qualitative approach and semi-structured interviews. The analysis was performed using the IRAMUTEQ software. As a conceptual basis, public. It was found that the interviewees have strong interactions with the so-called RECA project, marketing their non-timber forest products. It was observed with this research that the public policies most present in the experiences of agroextractivists were PRONAF e PAA. It is concluded that the interviewees tend to understand a public policy when it is a direct use modality, that is, those that demand some form of provocation on the part of the beneficiary who wants to access it. This leads to the conclusion that public policies of indirect access, such as those related to the provision of services by the State, are not seen by the interviewees as a policy. In addition, the tendency of the interviewees is to conceptualize public policy as government aid in terms of income transfer, that is, in terms of redistributive policy. Given this diagnosis, it is suggested that the individuals interviewed should improve their educational conditions, being encouraged to access public policies, as well as receiving support to be able to benefit from existing policies and contribute to improvements in the formulation of policies. |
