Resumo: Dengue can now be considered one of the main problems of Brazilian public health. The World Health Organization estimates that between 50 and 100 million people will become infected annually in more than 100 countries. In the year 2016, there were 1,500,535 probable cases of dengue in the country. In this sense, there is a need to seek strategies to better inform and educate the population about dengue and, for that, it is relevant to use educational technologies that sensitize the importance of the subjects' knowledge about this public problem. Educational technologies (TE) are defined as a systematic set of scientific knowledge that makes possible the planning, execution, control and follow-up involving the entire formal and informal educational process. For this purpose, the general objective of the research was to validate a booklet for the prevention of dengue in order to make it a TE. And as specific objectives: to verify if the booklet is a statistically valid instrument, in the opinion of the expert judges and to re-evaluate and rework the booklet, according to comments / suggestions of the judges. It was a methodological development research developed with two groups of expert judges. For the data collection, an instrument was used, according to the Likert scale. For the data analysis, the content validity index (CVI) was performed, and the data collected were treated, based on the descriptive statistical analysis, and presented in the form of tables and tables. The ethical aspects were respected, in accordance with Resolution 466/2012. From the results of the research, the text and the illustrations of the booklet underwent a re-elaboration. The textual suggestions relied on the substitution of expressions, reworking and substitutions of sentences, information addition, language and grammatical revision, factors considered essential in the preparation-production of the educational material. On the other hand, in terms of the format and aesthetics of the book, it was imperative to evaluate the technical aspects of the professionals from other areas, other than health, who showed in the material, specific contour, finishing, traces, balloon shapes, lines, typography, fonts Graphics, size scales, color tones, contrast, chromatic settings and printing. The illustrations were all remade, adding clarity, expressiveness, movement, interaction and contextualization. In view of this, it is expected that the preparation and validation of this booklet, on dengue prevention, may encourage the construction of new didactic tools, especially in the nursing area, since the profession needs to expand and value its productions, Even though these are not predominantly composed of artifacts and inventions, but rather of strategies to systematize the work process or the structuring of didactic-pedagogical material for education and health promotion. It is concluded that the primer, by adapting the suggestions and comments of the judges, can become a valid tool to be used for the population, with the purpose of informing, in a playful way, the forms of prevention and combat to the mosquito Dengue transmitter, seeking to promote reflection on the ways of coping with the disease
