In this work we presented an activity proposal that contemplates an adaptation of the definition of ring for Elementary School, with the objective of understanding the concepts and operational properties studied at this level of education. So, we explored the existence of a neutral and opposite element in unusual operations and we solved equations with these operations. Throughout this dissertation, we exhibited and analyzed the results obtained by the students of a Seventh Grade Elementary School Class in a municipal public school in Pinhal de Grande - RS. We concluded that our activity proposal was satisfactory, complementing it with suggestions that allow us to improve it for the next application.
