Resumo: The Brazil is one of the countries that produce waste, due to its large agroindustrial activity. Ethanol production stands out as one of the activities that generate more waste, due to the large volume of stillage generated, which presents a high polluting load, becoming an environmental problem if they are not adopted measures for their use or treatment. The main objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of the application of the waste liquid from the production of ethanol from Solanum tuberosum about the culture of tomato and soya. In the bioassays were tested potato processing waste of variety Asterix (the residue) and Baroness variety (B residue) obtained from the Pilot Plant of the Chemical Engineering Department. The waste was implemented via tomato culture leaf in the dose of 5 L ha-1, ranging from the application stage. Treatments with applications throughout the cycle of culture (T2 and T5) showed increases in number of fruits of 19.56% and 17.39% and the number of flowers that have turned into viable fruit and 10.55% respectively, 30.31 with relation to the witness. On the cultivation of soybeans were evaluated different concentrations of residues and (B) the seed thus obtaining an increment in the rooting of 25.94% for doses of 4 and 6 mL of the residue per kilogram of seed for the residue and an increase in the length of the shoot of 18.64% for the concentration of 2 ml per kg of seed. In biotestes with the residue (B) the concentration of 8 mL per kg of seed produced an increase of 20.81% for the length of the radicle and the length of the shoot the concentration of 2 mL per kg of seed showed an increase of 7.04%. The results lead us to conclude that the residues evaluated potential feature on crops evaluated biostimulant.
