Resumo: This dissertation explores the implementation and outcomes of an interdisciplinary project in History teaching at a private elementary school in Santa Maria – RS, focusing on the interaction between various subjects to enhance the teaching-learning process. The primary aim was to investigate how an interdisciplinary approach can motivate and engage students, in addition to providing a more profound and integrated understanding of curricular content. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, the study was based on observations of project activities, as well as perceptions from educators and students. The results highlighted that interdisciplinarity significantly increased engagement and understanding within the selected group, facilitating the practical application of acquired knowledge and fostering skills such as creativity and critical thinking.
