Resumo: | This work presents a study related to the synthesis, structural analysis and antioxidant activity of manganese, cobalt and copper complex whit ligands of Schiff bases type, derivate from tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (TRIZMA®). Was used like starting material TRIZMA®, the derivative of salicyl aldehyde o-vanilin, the aldehyde 2-pyrrolcarboxaldehyde, the aldehyde 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and cobalt chloride salts, manganese chloride and copper perchlorate, for the complexes synthesis. All the complexes formed have had their superoxide dismutase (SOD) tested in vitro. The synthesized compounds was: (1) bis-μ3-2-(((2-hydroxi-3-methoxyphenyl) methylene)amino)-2-(hidroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol mono-manganese, (2) bis-μ4-2-(((2-hydroxi-3-metoxyphenil)methylene)amino)-2-(hydroximethyl)-1,3-propanediol-bis-cobalt, (3) tetra-μ3-2-(((2-hydroxi-3-metoxiphenyl)metilene)amino)-2-(hydroximethyl)-1,3-propanediol-tetra-copper, (4) μ3-(4,4-oxazolidyn-dimetanol-2-(2-pyridin))-μ2(2-pyridin-2-carboxylicacid)-copper perchlorate, (5) tetra-μ3((1,3-propanediol-2-amino-2-(hydroximethyl)-2-(pirrole 2)-tetra-copper. Was made a structural study of these compounds in solid state, was use X-ray diffraction in monocristal. For the SOD activity test of this complex was used the NBT method. In addiction of, all the compounds was characterized through elemental analyses and infrared spectroscopy. |
