Resumo: This dissertation evaluates the potential of Network Educational Technologies (TER), in a more timely way, the use of video as a pedagogical didactic tool, as a mediator of discussions and construction of knowledge in the field of sustainable rural development and Agroecology, seeking to stimulate teaching learning of these Themes. For this purpose, audiovisual material (video) was recorded recording pasture milk production experiences as a productive dynamic of Agroecological transition, through the Voisin Rational Grazing (PRV), underway in rural farms of family farmers in the municipality of Santa Maria - RS. The study is part of the PPGTER Network Educational Development Research line and had as its final product the production and availability of video as an instrument of pedagogical mediation in the teaching and learning dynamics of Agroecology. The work is characterized as an exploratory case study with a qualitative approach, having as a research tool the use of interviews with students of the Center of Rural Sciences (CCR) of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), through the application of questionnaires With the central question being the perception of the interviewed students about the use of video as a mediator of the teaching of Agroecology and also regarding the use of digital methodologies in the Agrarian Sciences. The results point to the potential of the video in teaching learning in Agroecology, favoring reflections on elements such as the importance of family agriculture in the context of sustainability, commitment to the production of quality food, the possibilities of "new" production systems, not dependent on Chemical inputs that generate, in addition to income, dignity and autonomy to rural families. These subjects, still in the background in the curricular curricula of the courses of Agricultural Sciences of the CCR, had in the video an impulse to reach the students who wave to this one as an important instrument facilitator of the construction of knowledge, since it brings the students of the realities in Study, of the meanings and meanings attributed to pedagogical practices and the challenges of sustainability, motivating the theme. Finally, the results still point to the use of digital technologies as fundamental for the dynamics of mediation between the academic environment and the daily practices exercised by rural subjects, increasing the possibilities of intersection between the parties. In addition, the video still allows diversification of the forms of scientific expression, which currently require academic efforts that can go beyond writing, incorporating these, images and sounds, as methodologies capable of broadening perceptions and provide understanding of the meanings of the subjects And their forms of life, thus enabling motivations for new experiences and senses of the contemporary rural.
