Perfil demográfico, comportamental e de saúde e a relação com a atividade física em indivíduos das capitais brasileiras

Resumo: Introduction: Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) are defined as diseases that occur in a certain period of life, compromising the well-being of individuals, sometimes slowly. objective: analyze health risk behavior in individuals from Brazilian capitals. Methodology: through a descriptive study, data were collected about physical activities and their relationship with NCDs, as well as from the analysis of secondary data, extracted from the Surveillance of Risk and Protective Factors for Chronic Diseases by Telephone Survey (VIGITEL), in a historical analysis of 2019 and 2021. Results: among the results obtained in this study, it is highlighted that from the statistical analysis, it is perceived the need to include the programs developed in favor of the reduction of NCDs, for the educational knowledge of the subjects and improvement of the quality of life of the population, bearing in mind that VIGITEL data show that there is still a low rate of physical activity. The number of people who perform physical activities varies, about 50.1% of women practice. As a result, 69.8% of the population mentioned obstacles to performing physical activities, such as time, age and work. Conclusion: women who have CNCDs need to be better assisted and educated about the importance of performing regular physical activities to reduce the incidence of diseases and consequently improve their quality of ife. The activities are effective, as it prevents the individual from developing Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases, especially aerobic exercises that treat cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension and obesity.
