Resumo: |
Improving the quality of urban mobility is becoming increasingly necessary and urgent. Many Brazilian cities face problems related to major traffic congestion throughout the day due to excessive vehicles on the roads. This generates more and more pollution, interfering with natural and climatic problems both at global levels and in the cities themselves, causing temperature increases. What happens with the city of Aracaju is no different. The increase in the number of vehicles in the capital of Sergipe and adjacent cities in recent years has greatly damaged traffic flow, which has led to more pollution, both environmental and noise, and traffic jams at various points. Considering that adequate urban mobility passes through quality collective transport, it is necessary to find ways to make it more efficient. In this context the performance indicators appear. They serve both to diagnose the local reality, that is, to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the public services offered to the population, as well as to monitor and monitor the results achieved through public policies adopted by the government. The main objective of this work is, therefore, to elaborate a structure of performance indicators for the collective public transport of the city of Aracaju. It can be used by the municipal public power in improving the management of this mode of transportation and, consequently, bring improvements to the city. For this, a bibliographical research was carried out on indicators of urban mobility, selecting the most important, taking into account the simplicity and ease of understanding. The objective was achieved with a structure divided into seven themes and it is necessary to use this tool to raise public awareness of their relevance and this work can also help in this regard. |
