Resumo: The study "The Homeless Population in the News Agency - Aracaju City Hall and the impact on the G1 Sergipe and Infonet websites" aimed to observe the frequency with which the subject is worked on in the articles on the Aracaju City Hall website and their repercussion on the two commercial communication vehicles, the oldest in the state. The study points out the articles on the actions proposed in the Municipal Strategic Plan - focusing on the homeless population - a way to know to what extent the work of the advisors is committed to transparency and access to public information of interest to citizens, especially those living on the streets in the capital of Sergipe. To understand this process, the dissertation initially focuses on the concept of accountabillity and Journalistic Relevance (Guerra; Feitoza, 2016), assembling maps of the macro and micro themes, defined from the analysis of documents of the Public Management of the Municipality of Aracaju (Strategic Plan and LOA) based on the methodology proposed by the Journalistic Agenda Guide (Guerra, 2016). In a second moment, it enters with the Content Analysis proposed by Bardin (1977) to deepen the process of news production and its peculiarities of inclusion/exclusion of homeless people. The search window, on the websites, was January to December 2022, with publications referring to the homeless population. Through the parameters established in this study, we believe that the results can help to improve the work in the newsrooms of advisors and commercial newsrooms, providing more qualification in the planning of the subjects to be worked on, produced, monitored and disseminated through the news and reports.
