Resumo: |
This research aimed to analyze sustainability in the socio-environmental management of the judiciary, from the perspective of indicators defined by the National Council of Justice (CNJ). Specifically, the study proposes: Measure the socio-environmental dimension indicators of the PJ; Analyze the implementation process of the Judiciary’s Sustainable Logistics plan (PLS-PJ); Propose a sustainability index for PJ’s socio-environmental management. The State Courts of Justice of Alagoas and Sergipe constitute the locus of this investigation. This is qualitativequantitative, descriptive-exploratory research with documentary analysis. We opted for the hypothetical-deductive method and the general and comparative method in which the methodology proposed by Calório (1997) was used, combined with Daniel et al (2001), Sobral, Almeida and Gomes (2012), Faccioli and Gomes Filho (2021) with the creation of radar-type graphics. Twenty-one (21) indicators were analyzed in three dimensions, being: 09 (nine) from the environmental dimension, 8 (eight) from the economic dimension and 4 (four) from the social dimension, in 9 (nine) different categories, defined by the CNJ and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). An index and model aimed at evaluating the socioenvironmental sustainability of the judiciary is presented, in which the main results found stand out: i) the general sustainability index - IS0-100 was 20,24% (TJAL) and 35,86% (TJSE), a level considered bad and classified as a pessimistic scenario for both courts; ii) sustainability level highlights the economic and environmental dimensions, in the categories: paper, disposable cups, electricity and mineral water, due to expenses/consumption; iii) indicators that presented the highest level of unsustainability (0,0%) - consumption of returnable packaging for mineral water (IA9, in TJAL) and expenditure on mineral water in returnable packaging (IE8, in TJAL and TJSE); iv) The literature is silent in relation to socio-environmental management in the judiciary with the SDGs, there is a scarcity of studies to assess sustainability. Thus, the knowledge developed in this research fills a gap by proposing a Sustainability Index for this sphere of power. |
