This action research project, undertaken in a school in Japaratuba city / SE, aims at improving the training of Portuguese teachers regarding the work, in the classroom, on the resources necessary for the articulation of ideas and for the elaboration of a consistent point view on women's empowerment. The general objective is to contribute with teacher training aimed at the work with the elaboration of points of view from different discursive genres that focus on female empowerment. Methodologically, the following steps were followed: 1. bibliographic research and organization of a pre-test with the intention of establishing referrals for the research; 2. elaboration of a sequence of activities that can be summarized as follows: from a survey, which consisted in the production of a one-minute video whose thematic was the daily life of ateenager, six sequential activities (aimed at the study of the argumentative operators in texts, the identification of different discursive genres, the construction of points of view, the analysis of videos, aiming at the production of a video script and the socialization of different points of view through panel discussions). After analyzing the results, as the final product of this Professional Master's Degree, we opted for the production of a video designed to support the work of teachers in a perspective of continuing education. The data collected in the pretest were analyzed based on the ideas of the following authors: Foucault (1995) to discuss the power relations in society; Carvalho (2011), Spivak (2010), Muniz (2017) and Bandeira (2017) for definitions of female empowerment and subalternity. The ideas of Meyer (1982; 1991), Barroso (2007), Magalhães (2013) and Koch (2017) were used to deal with the production of the argumentation. And for the definition of point of view and its relations with linguistic aspects, the postulates of Rabatel (2016) were used. The results point out that there was an increase in the use of argumentative operators and the resources of argumentation by the students of ninth grade, consequently, they reached a greater consistency in the elaboration of points of view by thinking over, together, discourses and behaviors that build relationships in society. The realization of this research made it possible for the students to understand and question the discourses that surround them so that they take transformative stances regarding respect for men and women. |
