The school space is of particular importance in the process of reflection-action-reflection, insofar as formal education can contribute to the reconstitution of the subject's view of himself, of space and nature as a whole, and thus of restoring the gaze and praxis about the environment and our common home. The research problem was instigated by observation and verification of the process of water pollution in the Pitanga River, an integral part of the Hydrographic Microbasin that has the same name, located in the neighborhoods of São Conrado and Santa Maria in the Municipality of Aracaju / SE. It was also observed the reduction of the availability of drinking water in the microbasin of the Pitanga river / SE as a problem situation to be problematized in the classroom and to provoke the students to see themselves as participants in the process. The fact that it is configured as an urban peripheral area, the socio-environmental problematic of water presents contrasts insofar as the society that invisibilizes the man, also does it with nature, with the medium in which this man relates to social reproduction. The Man and the environment are invisibilized and socially excluded. Therefore, the reading of the world, of being in the world has presented itself as a pedagogical challenge and implied the necessary reflection carried out at the Benedito Oliveira State School, because it is a place of proposing challenges, reflected and dialogued among the social subjects that live and reproduce in the place. The students were instigated to problematize the environmental issue and the water care as a central component of the nature/society relationship, aiming at its recomposition, and the overcoming of the dichotomous vision of this relation and the fractionation of knowledge in the perspective of thinking about the future of man on the planet. In this way, it was used the dialogical method (Gadotti, 2006). The research methodology of exploratory character, documentary, and the research was conducted by the research-participant. As an applied science, for reflection-action-reflection, workshops were carried out that contributed to the socialization of the concepts of rivers and the various types of environmental degradation perceived by the students, as well as their apprehension about the society/nature relationship during the realization of the environmental track, our pedagogical product. It is concludes that the problems investigated, the dialogues and the exchange of established knowledge, lead to the reflection of the ecological subject and in their recognition as nature, in the realization that we all have the same earthly identity, we are part of the common house and that our future on the planet depends on the quality of our social-environmental relations and the action in defense of life. |
