SchistoAqui: monitoramento das condições socioambientais e da ocorrência da esquistossomose em São Cristóvão

Resumo: The disorderly population growth in the face of social and regional inequalities, associated with anthropic action, has led to changes in the urban network of cities, which has caused unprecedented socio-environmental damage. These are reflected in the physical-natural environment, thus affecting the balance in the relationship between human beings and the environment. Preceded by the lack of urban development in line with the environment, there are complications related to health, such as the onset of diseases. Among them, schistosomiasis, fits this caractersitics. The principal caracteristic of schistosomiasis, also know as Barriga D’agua, are having his hidric development and being are strongly related to areas with a inefficiencies in basic saniation. From his point, the main objecive of this present research is to analyze the conditions associated with the prevalence of the Schitosomiasis in the Rosa Elze district and Rita Cacete village, at the city of São Cristovão, Sergipe, in the period of 2007 to 2018. Were used the followed procedures: bibliographic and documental survey, about the subject; field research; elaboration of tables; development and elaboration of a mobile applicative, as a technical product, which information about schistosomiasis will be accessible, in addition to functioning as a database for monitoring outbreaks of the snails Biomphalaria glabrata. The results obtained revels a considerable inefficiency of sanitarinsauy conditions, due to the unhealthy conditions of the visited environments, which favor the existence of the snail, which spread schistosomiasis in the most vulnerable communities. The physicalgeographic aspects were identified as lacking, such as: sparse afforestation, inadequate urbanization, inefficiency in basic sanitation , social vulnerability and degradation of water bodies. It was also noticed the difficulty of access to information about the theme in the municipality. Finally, the SchistoAqui software was developed as a technological product that will provide objective information about schistosomiasis and will enable the community to assist in the demarcation of points where the snail Biomphalaria glabrata is present in the research area.
