The aim of this study is to describe the process of creation and operation of the Central Archive of the Federal University of Sergipe and its contribution to the writing of the History of Education from 1998 to 2016. The research approach is qualitative, in addition to its use. of documentary and bibliographic procedures. The methodology of this study is based on the use of bibliography in tune with the discussion, printed documents, photographs and information obtained through the interviews. In this study we work with the following categories and the respective theorists to account for concepts such as: permanent archive (BELLOTO, 2006), document and Memory (LE GOFF, 2003), oral history (ALBETTI, 2010) and engaged intellectual (SIRINELLI, 1996). AC / UFS was born at a time of expansion at the Federal University of Sergipe, when a group of intellectuals concerned with preserving institutional memory came together to build and deploy the UFS Central Archiv, depositing “old papers”, but for the group of committed intellectuals, it was the beginning of permanent custody of the documents produced by the institution over 30 years. |
