Resumo: The current scenario of use and insertion of technology has made the teaching and learning process based on active methodologies fundamental. The fact is that the large amount of information accessed daily in cyberspace and the agility with which new content is produced and made available, impacted not only the educational scope, but all spheres of society. Based on this perspective, this research had as a guiding objective the proposition of a Virtual Learning Environment, mediated by Information and Communication Technologies, to develop the Information Competence of young people enrolled and trained in the courses and qualification workshops of Sergipe Parque Tecnológico. In a complementary way, it also aimed at a systematic literature review, identifying the tools that will be used in the mediation of information, in the demonstration of their applicability in the educational scope for the job market. Given the above, we ask: How can a virtual learning environment contribute to the mediation of information in online mediation processes, in order to develop CoInfo?. Therefore, exploratory research was carried out, with a quantitative approach, in which questionnaires were applied to four hundred and 26 trained users of the virtual teaching platform. The results show that the implementation of the AVA collaborates in the insertion and/or replacement of young people in the job market, contributing to the reduction of unemployment in the community.
