The present study is based on na ethnographic carried out between March/2019 and June/2020. It aims to understand, from the experiences and perceptions of male prostitutes wording in the city of Aracaju-SE, the possible transformations of prostitution in the city. The research also aimed to identify and reflect on the meanings of the tool and tools used by male prostitutes both in street prostitution and on the internet and highlinght how differences and sililarities in the trajectories of the boys. To do so, use the theory of social interactions (Howard Becker, Erving Goffman, Nestor Perlongher, among others). From a methodological point of view, 15 boys were researched for street sex work using an interview script (with subjective questions), participant observation and a field diary, through qualitative analyses. In terms of sex work in the virtual word, eight boys were surveyed as a sample and online observation via webcam and virtual chats on the websites kidcomlocal.com, vivalocal.com.br and skokka.com.br were used, through qualitative analyses. Some perspectives reinforce these transformations. The emergence of new ways of configuring sex work, such as: other areas of the city being appropriate for the practice; advertisements in magazines and newspapers and home care.In this field, the virtualization of male sex work has contributed na contributes to the adoption on new forms of sexual business in this activity, especially dating and sexual relations websites.
