Resumo: This Essay research consisted of listening to and analyzing the narratives of the shellfish fishing village Crasto ( municipality of Santa Luzia Itanhy ) over time and space related to the world of production and reproduction in environmental ( and ) fishing where the knowledge and doings occupy prominent role in this work. The daily life of the village Crasto is delineated by the waters of the rivers and mangroves that " dictate " part of their daily decisions , own the material reproduction and largely symbolic of this social group . The questions guiding this study were: How do the seafood restaurants of the town Crastro ( SE) , interpret their everyday time and space related to the activities of fishing ? the fishing environment appears symbolically for the group of women shellfish collectors in this locality ? The main objective was to understand how the seafood organize their daily tasks and their local interpretations as time and space fishery . Theories about ethnography, memory and narrative methodological axes were used to understand the local reality of these riparian, in field research as well as in the construction of the text . The experiences remembered by the women of mangrove related joys and sorrows , shaped their accounts of their social reality.
