Resumo: |
One of the most important natural resources in the Earth is, without a doubt none, the water. Had to constant periods of drought that characterize the semibarrens climate of wasteland in Brazilian northeastern, people faces serious problems of water scarcity and consequent lack of food. To try to minimize the lack of water, some reservoirs were built in northeastern semibarren. The main objective of this work is analyze the water quality in the Buri reservoir in Frei Paulo to get some data as localization, depth and others. These data are important because reservoir water supplies frei-paulense people and surrounding communities in drought periods. They use water for irrigation, domestic uses, animal dessedentação etc. The analyzed parameters had been physicists (electric conductibility, dissolved total solids, transparency and turbidity), chemistries (pH, temperature, suspended solids, dissolved oxygen, hardness, metals, nutrients and chlorides) and biological ones (cloriformes and chlorophyll a). The collects had been carried thought in two stages: March 2009 and July 2009. The adopted methodology was the analysis of the parameters in accordance with APHA (1988). The results of fisics of chemistry and biologic parameters analyzed, show that water of dam is classified like sweet water class 1, according the Resolution CONAMA 357/05. Some urgent actions must be done to avoid that water be damaged. Some parameters (electric conductibility, DBO and hardness) had exceeded the allowed maximum value. In relation to quality of cloriformes, according the health Ministery (Portaria nº 518/04), exceeded the VPM to human consumption. |
